Information we collect

• Email address — collected during checkout, used to deliver your purchase and send order updates.
• Payment information — payments are processed entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details; Stripe's own privacy policy governs how it handles your payment data.
• Order details — the product purchased, price paid, and order status.
• Discord ID — only if you choose to redeem a Discord code through our Discord bot; this is handled separately by the bot and is not collected by this website.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Fulfill your order (allocate and deliver your Steam key(s) and/or Discord code by email)
• Send you order confirmations and support responses
• Detect and prevent fraud, in conjunction with Stripe
• Meet our accounting and legal obligations

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Stripe — processes your payment and may hold data needed for fraud prevention and compliance.
• Our email provider — used solely to deliver your purchase confirmation and keys.

We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law.

Cookies & tracking

We run our own first-party analytics to understand site traffic and how well the store converts — we don't use Google Analytics or any third-party advertising or tracking service, and we don't sell or share this data with anyone. These cookies are only set if you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit; if you decline, none of the cookies below are set and no analytics events are recorded.

• ps_vid — an anonymous, randomly generated id identifying your browser across visits. Not tied to your name, email, or account. Expires after about 400 days.
• ps_sid — a short-lived id grouping the pages you view in one visit. Expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• ps_utm — records which link or campaign brought you here (e.g. a Discord announcement), so we can see which channels are working. Expires after 30 days.
• ps_consent — remembers your cookie banner choice. Expires after 6 months.

We record which pages you visit, whether you start a purchase, and whether it completes — never your name or payment details. Once you're redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page to pay, Stripe's own cookie and privacy practices apply to that page.

Data retention

We keep order records for as long as necessary to meet our accounting, tax, and legal obligations, and to provide support for past purchases.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@incandescentgames.net. We may need to retain certain records (e.g. transaction history) where required by law.

Children's privacy

This store is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
