About PlanetSmith

PlanetSmith is a game currently in development. The rewards sold here originated as Kickstarter backer tiers and are now also available for direct purchase. Some rewards (such as beta or release Steam keys) are delivered later, closer to those milestones, rather than immediately at purchase.

Orders & payment

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are listed in USD; Stripe may display and charge in your local currency automatically at checkout. By placing an order you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

Digital delivery

Purchases are fulfilled automatically: your Steam key(s) and/or Discord code, where applicable, are emailed to the address you provide at checkout, typically within a few minutes of payment. Some reward components (e.g. beta or release keys) are not delivered immediately — see the product description for details — and will be sent separately when they become available.

Limited-quantity rewards

Some rewards (Alpha Tester, World Builder, Block Designer, Legendary Explorer) are sold in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability shown on this site is provided for convenience and is not guaranteed until your payment has been completed.

Collaborative rewards

The World Builder and Block Designer rewards include the opportunity to help design in-game content with our team, subject to the following:

• World Builder— your world generation structure must fit our world design and vision; it can be as simple as a tree, house, or ruin, and can be underground, but can't be too large.
• Block Designer— your decorative block(s) will be created together with one of our artists; content can't include text, symbols, or offensive material.

We'll contact you by email to coordinate these rewards after purchase.

Refunds

Because our products are delivered instantly and automatically, all sales are final once a key or code has been delivered. The only exception is if we're unable to fulfill your order — for example, if the item became unavailable between your payment and fulfillment — in which case we automatically issue a full refund and notify you by email. If you believe you've been charged in error, contact us at support@incandescentgames.net before filing a dispute with your bank or card issuer, so we can try to resolve it directly.

Third-party services

Fulfilling your order may involve third-party platforms — including Steam and Discord — that we don't control. We aren't responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of those platforms.

Intellectual property

PlanetSmith, its assets, and related trademarks are the property of Incandescent Games. Purchasing a reward does not transfer any ownership or commercial rights in the game or its content.

No warranty

PlanetSmith is a game in active development. We make no guarantee about release dates, specific features, or future content, and rewards are provided “as is.”

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Incandescent Games is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of these rewards.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of this site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
